Education Works SEO is a non-partisan public education advocacy group that plans to unite southeastern Ohio voters in an effort to promote adequate and equitable funding for public schools.

Its first public effort is a petition signing at a local arts fair this Saturday.  The petition asks the Ohio legislature to keep funding for school bus transportation at current levels and to reinstate the school bus purchase assistance that ended in 2009.

The Brick Street Arts Bash is sponsored by Marietta College and is free to the public.

The event is from 10 am to 10 pm in downtown Marietta.
