Ohio Poor People’s Campaign

A season of nonviolent moral fusion direct action to transform the nation’s political, economic, and moral structures has begun.

On Monday, June 11, we will be headed to the Ohio Statehouse for the fifth week of 40 Days of Moral Action to focus on public education.

We demand equity in education, ensuring every child receives a high-quality, well-funded, diverse public education.

We demand an end to the re-segregation of schools.

We demand free tuition at public colleges and universities and an end to profiteering on student debt.

We demand equitable funding for historically black colleges and universities.

Please stand with us at 2:00pm on Monday, June 11, as we show our elected leaders we will no longer tolerate poorly written school privatization policies that keep poor and disenfranchised people down.
